The Department of Mechanical Engineering, established in 1984, offers a four year undergraduate program with an intake of 120 students. The department provides a dynamic academic environment that integrates core mechanical sciences with modern engineering practices in design, manufacturing, thermal systems, automation, and materials engineering. Students are encouraged to apply theoretical concepts through well equipped laboratories and structured experimental learning programs that support both fundamental and advanced mechanical experimentation. Design and innovation laboratories facilitate student driven research, prototype development, and interdisciplinary project execution. A range of technical clubs and student competitions promote creativity, leadership, teamwork, and technical excellence.
