The Department of Product Design at DYPUT is dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and user-centered problem-solving in the development of products and systems. The department integrates design thinking, engineering principles, materials knowledge, ergonomics, sustainability, and digital fabrication technologies to prepare students for dynamic roles in industrial design, consumer products, mobility, and emerging technologies. With over fifteen years of experience as an artist, educator, and curator, I have had the privilege of mentoring students across leading institutions. This journey has taught me that every student has unique creative potential, and our role as educators is to help discover, nurture, and transform that potential into meaningful design practice. Our learning environment combines strong design fundamentals with hands-on studio practice, material exploration, emerging technologies, industry collaborations, research, and real-world projects. We encourage students to think critically, experiment fearlessly, and remain deeply connected to culture while designing for the future.
